Library Cards:
Most residents of Pinellas County are eligible for a free library card. We also have reciprocal borrowing agreements with a number of library systems in other counties throughout this region of the state. To verify your eligibility, call the Circulation Desk at the number listed above.

Checkout periods:
Most Books and Materials: 28 days
Videotapes & DVDs: 7 days
New Books: 14 days

Renewals:
Unless the item is on hold for someone, items can be renewed up to two times. The easiest ways to request a renewal are to call the Circulation Desk at 541-0718 during the library's normal hours of operation, or go to our online catalog at PALS.polarislibrary.com.

Additional Services
Programs:

Computers:
The library currently has 13 computers for public use in the Adult Area that have Internet access, MS Word 2000, Excel, and Publisher. Two additional computers are available for wordprocessing. Youth Services has five computers for use by patrons under the age of 18 that have wordprocessing and filtered Internet access. Materials:
The library has over 100,000 items, including books, audiotapes, videotapes, DVDs, CDs, multimedia software, periodicals, newspapers, and more. If you are looking to see if we have something in our collection, try our PALS.polarislibrary.com.

Volunteer Opportunities:
If you have a few spare hours and would like to help your community, consider volunteering at the library. Stop by the library to pick up a volunteer application form and see how you can help.
